LED light panel PAIR for RED Lucas ST51 stop & tail lamps with SPLIT lens

PAIR of LED light boards for conversion of Lucas ST51 'D Lamp' type lights, fitted with SPLIT RED lenses, to bright LED operation. On board electronics make this suitable for 6V & 12V vehicles and Positive & Negative earth systems.

This is a new product specially designed to fit the Lucas ST51 split lens lamp and modern reproductions to the original pattern such as Vintage Supllies'/sVc's '249A and 428A' part number products. The panel features a main, D shaped RED light board with two sections of LEDs, that locates between the original lens and the lens retaining wire. An additional WHITE LED light board is attached perpendicular to the main board to provide number plate illumination, though the assembly is suitable for D lamps with or without a number plate illumination window.

Two versions of this board are available to deal with different designs of 'D lamp':

• Two BA15S bulb holder connectors (15mm diameter, single contact cap with equal pins) on 15cm connecting wires. One connector illuminates the Tail light (first brightness RED on both section of LEDs) plus the Number Plate light (WHITE). The second connector illuminates the Stop light (second brightness RED on both sections of LED)
• One BA15S single contact holder and one BA15D double contact equal pin holder - The BA15S connector illuminates the Tail light (first brightness RED on both sections of LEDs) plus the Number Plate light (WHITE). Either terminal on the BA15D connector illuminates the Stop light (second brightness RED on both sections of LED)

Please check the bulb holders in your ST51 D Lamp and see whether it has two single contact bulb holders or one single and one double (BA15D) holder - then select either the BA15S/BA15S or BA15S/BA15D panel

These boards have a very low power requirement and provide great all over lens lighting from 51 RED LEDS, with the fast response time/illumination under braking characteristic of LEDs - plus good distinction between STOP and TAIL red light brightnesses. This is a 'plug and play' product that requires no other attachment other than plugging in the bulb connectors and locating the LED board between the lens and the lens retaining spring clip and reassembly of the lamp. Two 1.5mm thick rubber lens seals are provided in the kit, in case they are needed. Conversion kit for a PAIR of lamps.
